How to Set Up a Dialup Account for the First Time Using Windows 95/98:

1. Double Click on "My Computer" on your desktop.
2. Double click on "Dial-Up Networking".
3. Double click on "Make New Connection".
4. 1. Type in whatever friendly name you would prefer. Example: Comentum Internet.
   2. Type the local phone number that is given to you by comentum.
   3. Click on the "Next" Tab.

   2. Click on the "Next" Tab.
6. Click on the "Finish" Tab.
7. Right Click on the "Comentum Internet" Icon and select "Properties".
8. 1. Make sure that "General Tab" is selected
   2. Click on the "Configure" button
9. 1. Click on the "Server Types" tab.
   2. Uncheck "Log on to network", "NetBEUI" and "IPX/SPX Compatible".
   3. (only "Enable software compression" and "TCP/IP" should be checked)
   4. Click on "OK".
10. Right Click on the "Comentum Internet" Icon and select "Create Shortcut".
11. Click the "Yes" button.
12. Double click on the "Shortcut to Comentum Internet".
13. 1. Type in your user name which is provided by Comentum
    2. (Example of Regional Account user name: mike@access)
    3. (Example of National 200 Account user name: mike.access@ibizdialup.com)
    4. (Example of National Unlimited Account user name: mike.access@anywhere)
    5. your user name is case sensitive
    6. Type in your password (your password is case sensitive).
    7. The local number is already entered.
    8. Check the "Save password"
    9. Click on "Connect". - Wait 30 to 60 seconds (based on your modem's brand) till you get connected.
14. 1. Double click on the "Outlook Express" icon to access your email.
    2. Double click on the "Internet Explorer" icon to browse the Internet.
